- A trident, known as a tryzub in Ukrainian, which came be seen on Ukraine’s coat of arms, illustrated in the style of a mosaic.
- A traditional ceramic rooster, or pivnyk. This piece of pottery became a new symbol of Ukrainian resilience after it was one of the few items to survive the destruction of an apartment in Borodianka, Kyiv Oblast, in April 2022.
Andrii Voloshyn is a nuclear physicist and a self-taught illustrator with 15 years of professional experience. The illustrations in this collection are a junction of modern and eternal Ukrainian symbols, brought together with a contemporary and lively style.
