Folkloric Tote Bag (Navy blue)

This tote bag, adorned with a vibrant tapestry of imagery, draws inspiration from the enchanting world of vertep, a Ukrainian Christmas puppet theater tradition dating back to the 16th century. 

Imagine a vertep performance unfolding before your eyes: a small wooden stage, adorned with intricately crafted puppets. The upper level depicts the nativity scene, with angels and the newborn King, while below, a lively cast of characters brings the earthly realm to life. 

The illustration by Albina Kolesnichenko captures this vibrant tradition, where cunning goats, mischievous rabbits, and watchful angels intertwine with symbolic stars and flowers, weaving a tapestry of festive folklore.
