No News is Bad News Unisex T-shirt
As World Press Freedom Day approaches on May 3, we are at a turning point, with press freedom in rapid decline, and journalists around the world targeted for doing their jobs. For journalists reporting from the front lines in Ukraine, the physical threat has never been greater. Russian first-person-view drones are increasingly targeting identified journalists. Early warning of incoming drones can be the difference between life and death.
For Press Freedom Day, we created the No News is Bad News collection. These products carry a clear message: a silent press is a censored press. It is a warning that independent journalism is under threat — and without it, accountability disappears, and democracy is in danger.
From April 21 through May 5, we are dedicating all profits from this collection to purchasing 20 drone detectors (costing around $10 000) for the Institute of Mass Information (IMI), to help protect independent regional journalists reporting from the front lines.
For purchases from this collection, any tip left at checkout will go towards purchasing drone detectors for the IMI.
